An equipment failure left more than 500 Kentucky Utilities customers in Lexington without electricity for a few hours early Wednesday morning.
LGE-KU spokeswoman Chris Whelan said a fuse apparently failed shortly after 2 a.m., cutting power to 548 customers in the Clays Mill Road-Rosemont Garden area.
Service was restored to most of the homes by 4:45 a.m. The rest received power again about 6 a.m., Whelan said.
