Lexington traffic report, week of Nov. 10

MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPACT

North Upper Street between West Short and West Main streets will be closed 24 hours a day through Dec. 5 for material staging and building renovation on the 21C Museum Hotel. Traffic will be detoured to North Martin Luther King Boulevard

Rose Street between Columbia Avenue and Huguelet Drive will be closed 24 hours a day through Sept. 1 for construction of UK's science building. Local access will be provided for Funkhouser Drive.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

There will be rolling blockages of East High Street between Rose Street and South Limestone through Friday, to raise manholes to pavement levels.

To replace traffic signals, one lane at a time will be blocked through Thursday at Nicholasville Road intersections at East Lowry Lane, and Pasadena and Zandale drives.

Utility work will have the following effects on North Upper Street:

■ Southbound left lane between West Second and West Third streets blocked 24 hours a day through Nov. 28.

■ Southbound right lane between West Third and Church streets blocked 24 hours a day through Nov. 28.

■ Lane blockages 24 hours a day through Nov. 28 at intersections with Church, Mechanic and West Second streets.

■ Both lanes at West Fourth Street and southbound right lane between West Third and West Fourth streets blocked 24 hours a day through Dec. 9.

Inbound and outbound lanes of South Limestone at University Avenue will be blocked, one lane at time, through Monday to replace a traffic signal.

The left turn lane of South Limestone at West Main Street and the left turn lane of West Vine Street at South Limestone will be blocked 24 hours a day through Dec. 20 for the CentrePointe project.

There will be rolling lane blockages, with one lane open in each direction, on Southland Drive between Nicholasville Road and Rosemont Garden through Nov. 21 for a bike lane project.

The eastbound lane of Todds Road between Forest Hill Drive and Hays Boulevard will be blocked through Nov. 28, for utility work.

The outbound right lane of Versailles Road between Oliver Lewis Way and Red Mile Road will be blocked through Friday for overhead cable work.

The eastbound lane of West Fourth Street between Jefferson Street and North Broadway will be blocked through Nov. 28 for utility work.

The inbound left lane of West Maxwell Street between OIiver Lewis Way and South Broadway West Maxwell Street through Friday for overhead cable work.

The eastbound lane of West Third Street between Hickory Street and Newtown Pike West Maxwell Street through Friday for utility work.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

Utility work on Charles Avenue will have the following effects through Nov. 28:

■ Both lanes between Ash Street and Oak streets blocked, one lane at a time.

■ Northbound lane between Oak and Hickory streets blocked.

Fontaine Road will be blocked at Sycamore Road through Wednesday for utility work.

Hickory Street between Charles Avenue and West Third Street will be blocked one lane at a time through Nov. 28 for utility work.

Mitchell Avenue between Lane Allen and Clays Mill roads will be closed through Tuesday for utility work.

The outbound lane of North Limestone between Locust and Paris avenues will be blocked through Wednesday for street repair.

The westbound lane of West Third Street at Hampton Court will be blocked through Wednesday for street repair.
