Shut-in Lexington residents who need a Thanksgiving meal delivered to their homes can register for one through Sunday.

People who are unable to leave their homes because of health problems can call the Salvation Army at 252-7706 to sign up to have a meal delivered on Thanksgiving Day.

The Salvation Army will also serve a traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day to anyone in need. The dinner, catered by Lundy's Catering, will be served from noon to 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 736 West Main Street. Reservations are not needed.
