The year is ending on a clear and very cold note and that's exactly how 2015 will begin, WKYT chief meteorologist Chris Bailey said. The clear part of the forecast will give way to some ugly days in the coming weekend. Highs Wednesday will reach the upper 20s to low 30s under mainly sunny skies. Revelers may ring in the new year at 19 degrees. Winds could make it feel colder.
