All of New Circle Road between Versailles Road and Old Frankfort Pike will be closed for multiple 30-minute intervals during the overnight hours this week.
Beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the entire road will be shut down during 30-minute intervals ending at 5 a.m. the next day, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The left lane of the inner loop of New Circle will be closed from 7 p.m. on those days until 5 a.m. the next day while the work is being done.
The closings are necessary because a bridge is being demolished as part of a two-year widening project.
