Bitterly cold air continues across the bluegrass Thursday, and it looks like another shot of the cold stuff comes in later Friday. This is all part of a very harsh period of weather taking shape.

Temps Thursday morning will range from -5 to 5 across the region. Wind chill numbers will be from -5 to -20 at times. Those numbers will improve later today with upper teens for highs.
