Work done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless noted.
Downtown traffic is expected to be congested Wednesday through Sunday during the Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Sweet 16 Boys Basketball Tournament.
MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPACT
North Upper Street between West Short Street and West Main Street will be closed 24 hours a day, and traffic will be detoured to North Martin Luther King Boulevard, through April 5 for material staging and building renovation on the 21C Museum Hotel.
Rose Street between Columbia Avenue and Huguelet Drive will be closed 24 hours a day through Sept. 1 for construction of a University of Kentucky science building. Local access will be provided for Funkhouser Drive.
Woodland Avenue between Columbia and Hilltop avenues will be closed 24 hours a day through Sunday for sanitary sewer work. A marked detour using Euclid Avenue, Limestone Street, Cooper Drive and Huguelet Drive will be in place.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
The outbound right lane of Nicholasville Road will be blocked between State Street and Conn Terrace through Friday for utility work.
The outside lanes of the inner and outer loops of Man o' War Boulevard between Nicholasville Road and Clearwater Way will be blocked as needed through March 27 for sidewalk removal and replacement.
Utility and water main work will have the following effects on North Upper Street through March 27:
■ Closed between West Fifth and West Fourth streets and between West Fourth and West Third streets. Local access only.
■ One lane at a time blocked at the intersections of West Fourth and West Fifth streets.
■ Inbound right lane between West Fifth and West Sixth streets blocked 24 hours a day.
■ Southbound right lane between West Third and West Fourth streets blocked 24 hours a day.
There will be alternating lane blockages at Sir Barton Way and Man o' War Boulevard through Thursday to install traffic signals.
The left lane and left turn lane of westbound West High Street between South Broadway and Patterson Street will be blocked from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for utility work.
The outbound curb lane of West Short Street at North Broadway will be blocked Tuesday through Thursday to replace traffic poles.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The sidewalk, parking lane and left lane of South Limestone between Vine and West Main Street will be blocked 24 hours a day through March 31 for the CentrePointe project.
Sidewalks along Conn Terrace and State Street between Elizabeth Street and Nicholasville Road will be blocked 24 hours a day through Nov. 25 for construction of Shriner's Hospital.
There will be alternating lane blockages on Sir Barton Way at Old Rosebud Lane through Thursday to install traffic signals.
