A leak will stop the water fun at the Tates Creek Aquatic Center. It will be closed Saturday and Sunday, according to city officials.
The pool was closed earlier this week when the leak was discovered under the pool deck. Officials plan to reopen the pool sometime next week after repairs, according to a news release.
All Lexington Parks and Recreation Aquatic Centers opened Memorial Day weekend with a big cannonball and a "Poolapalooza" event at Southland.
The four aquatic centers — Castlewood, Southland, Tates Creek and Woodland — opened last week. Neighborhood pools — Douglass, Shillito and Picadome — open Saturday.
