MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPACT
Alumni Drive from Nicholasville to Tates Creek roads will be closed 24 hours a day to through traffic through Sept. 1 to reconfigure and upgrade the roadway. Local access will be maintained.
The left turn lanes of Harrodsburg Road at Waller Avenue will be closed 24 hours a day through Friday for road work.
North Upper Street between West Short and West Main streets will be closed 24 hours a day through Jan. 1 for material staging and building renovation on the 21C Museum Hotel. Traffic will be detoured to North Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Rose Street between Columbia Avenue and Huguelet Drive will be closed 24 hours a day through Sept. 1 for construction of the University of Kentucky's new science building. Local access is available for Funkhouser Drive.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
One lane of Clays Mill Road between Keithshire Way and Waco Road will be blocked 24 hours a day through Nov. 27 for the widening project.
Codell Drive between Old Todds Road and Woodhill Drive will be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day through Monday for utility work.
The right lane of East Main Street between Woodland Avenue and South Ashland Avenue will be blocked through Aug. 18 for utility work.
Fortune Drive between Winchester Road and Cornerstone Drive will be blocked one lane at a time as needed through Friday for road work.
The eastbound lane of Liberty Road near Appletree Lane will be blocked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday for utility work.
Mentelle Park will be blocked one lane at a time through Friday for milling and paving work.
The inbound lane of North Broadway between West Short and West Main streets will be blocked from 6 a.m. and noon Aug. 18 for a crane setup.
Because of utility work on North Limestone, the westbound lane at West Fourth Street and the left lane between West Third and West Fifth streets will be closed 24 hours a day through Friday, and the left lane between East Fifth and East Sixth streets will be closed 24 hours a day through Aug. 28. Additionally, one lane at a time at West Fifth Street will be closed through Friday.
The outside inbound and outbound lanes of South Broadway between West Maxwell and West High streets will be blocked on an alternating basis through Aug. 18 for utility work.
The southbound sidewalk and turn lane of South Limestone at Administration Drive will be blocked intermittently through Sept. 30 while trucks are unloaded.
The westbound lane of West Fourth Street between North Upper Street and North Limestone will be blocked 24 hours a day through Aug. 24 for utility work.
The left lane of West High Street between South Upper Street and South Broadway will be blocked through Aug. 18 for utility work.
The eastbound lane of West Loudon Avenue between Russell Cave Road and Newtown Pike will be closed as needed through Friday for curb and storm sewer work.
Moderate TRAFFIC IMPACT
The left lane of Appletree Lane between Liberty Road and Courtney Avenue will be blocked through Aug. 28 for utility work.
Sidewalks along Conn Terrace and State Street between Elizabeth Street and Nicholasville Road will be blocked 24 hours a day through Nov. 25 for construction of Shriners Hospital.
One lane of Rosemont Garden between Lafayette Avenue and Southport Drive will be blocked through Aug. 28 for utility work
