Have a Picnic With the Pops
This year's event, Night on Bourbon Street: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong, will feature the Lexington Philharmonic with Wycliffe Gordon and his International All-Stars. Gates open at 6 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday shows at The Meadow at Keene Barn, Keeneland, 4201 Versailles Road. The performance starts at dusk, around 8:30 p.m. General admission blanket seating is $15 advance, $20 at the gate (cash only at the gate). Single seats at regular tables are $25. The 40th annual Woodland Art Fair will feature 200 artists, live entertainment and food at Woodland Park, 601 East High Street. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
