A traffic light at the intersection of Greendale Road and Citation Boulevard in Lexington will become active at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said.
Motorists should be aware of the new traffic light and exercise caution when driving in the area.
The intersection saw at least five accidents on the day the new section of Citation Boulevard opened in September. Drivers said the intersection was too wide, too heavily trafficked and too dangerous to not have a traffic light.
Note: This story has been corrected to make clear the light goes live Nov. 16.
