Fayette County School District officials say they have found the student responsible for a graffiti threat left in a bathroom at Edythe J. Hayes Middle School.
A student reported finding the message, which threatened violence at the Lexington school Friday.
Principal Dave Hoskins sent an email to families Sunday night, saying he has taken disciplinary action, district spokeswoman Lisa Deffendall said Monday.
Similar threats have been found in school bathrooms across Kentucky in the last several weeks and Fayette school officials had deemed the E.J. Hayes incident a copycat.
