Eastern Kentucky University officials said a water main has been repaired after breaking Thursday evening.
Around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday evening, EKU sent out an alert that said a water main broke on the Richmond campus and Coates, Jones, Keith, Campbell and other buildings could be without water. The alert said a section of Lancaster Avenue could also be closed during repairs.
On Friday morning at about 12:30 a.m., the university sent out another alert which said EKU’s facilities services repaired the water main break and conditions in the affected buildings “should be back to normal.”
