Lexington police on Saturday afternoon were looking for two male juveniles who reportedly ran from a stolen car after it crashed into a creek in the area of Eastland Parkway and Tampa Court, Lt. Matthew Greathouse said.
Greathouse said police received a call shortly before noon on Saturday that the wreck occurred and that one of the males had injuries.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a car wrecked and empty, Greathouse said. WLEX-TV reported that police found a bloody white shirt at the scene.
Greathouse said the car was reported stolen from downtown Lexington about 7:20 a.m. Saturday.
