A 60-year-old man was taken to a hospital with critical injuries Thursday night after being hit by a taxi on North Broadway.
The man had been crossing North Broadway from the Thornton’s gas station parking lot when he was hit by a northbound taxi, Lexington police spokeswoman Brenna Angel said. The man, who had been outside the crosswalk, suffered a broken leg and possible head trauma.
Outbound lanes of North Broadway were closed for about an hour after the man was hit, Angel said. No charges have been filed.
