NICHOLASVILLE — A farmer who was found dead Thursday morning in his truck in northern Jessamine County may have died one or two weeks ago, police said.
Thomas F. Baker, 52, was found dead in a farm truck about a quarter-mile behind his house at 2016 Brannon Road, said Jessamine County Deputy Sheriff Todd Sponcil.
A nephew found the body before 8 a.m. Thursday, Sponcil said. Baker, who raised corn and soybeans, died of natural causes, Sponcil said. No foul play is suspected.
"The family said he lived alone and they didn't talk to him all that much," Sponcil said.
