The Nicholasville Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a Wilmore woman who has been charged with 12 counts of sex-related charges.
Police are searching for Ashley B. Bender, 30, of 705 Corbitt Drive, Wilmore, who has been charged with rape, sodomy and other charges.
The charges stem from an allegation that Bender "had intercourse with (a 15-year-old) male" at a local hotel on June 24, according to court records.
"Police in Nicholasville have made several attempts locally to find (Bender) and as of this time have had no success," officer Kevin Grimes said in a news release Monday. "Information has been received that (Bender) may be staying at an unknown location in Lexington."
