A Nicholasville man was arrested Sunday night in connection with the robbery of a Domino's Pizza delivery employee, police said Monday.
Leron McKee, 34, was charged with first-degree robbery, Nicholasville police said in a news release.
The delivery driver was delivering a pizza about 8 p.m. Sunday at an address on Jefferson Street in Nicholasville, police said.
When the delivery employee arrived, a man approached him on foot, saying he ordered the pizza. The man demanded money from the driver and threatened to kill him if he didn't comply. The driver gave him all the money he had and the robber ran off.

Police obtained the phone number used to place the pizza order and ran it through records. Police then linked the phone to McKee. They recovered the money stolen in the robbery and the cellphone used to place the call from McKee's home.
McKee was being held in the Jessamine County jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 8.
