Two arrested in Richmond drug bust that netted cocaine and over 9 pounds of marijuana

Two people were arrested after a drug bust that netted marijuana, cocaine and thousands of dollars in cash in Madison County Friday.

Police seized over nine pounds of marijuana, 10 grams of cocaine, about 70 individual packages of marijuana wax, a handgun and $32,000 in cash when they executed a search warrant at a residence on Letcher Drive in Richmond.

Amy Miller, 26, and Christopher Cummings, 29, were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana over five pounds and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine. They were taken to the Madison County Detention Center.

The Richmond Police, with help from the Madison County Drug Task Force, executed the warrant Friday.
