Berea man indicted on 95 counts of possessing child pornography

RICHMOND — A Madison County grand jury indicted a Berea man this week on charges of possession of child pornography.

Ricky L. Fansler, 42, was indicted on 95 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Each count is a felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department arrested Fansler on Wednesday. He was lodged in the Madison County jail on a $50,000 full cash bond.

Fansler's arrest and indictment follow an investigation by the state attorney general's office that began in December. A search warrant was executed in March at Fansler's residence.
