Richmond police on Tuesday arrested a man they wanted to question about a Friday night fire that gutted his former girlfriend's house.
Scott A. Milligan, 39, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. at a home in the 600 block of Charlie Norris Road after investigators received a tip, police said.
Milligan attempted to flee out the back door but was met by a detective. He was taken into custody without incident.
Police have said Milligan made repeated threats to burn the Parrish Avenue house, which was gutted by the fire. No one was injured in the blaze.
