Eastern Kentucky University issued a public safety alert Tuesday morning after a woman on campus reported feeling threatened Monday night.
About 9:45 p.m. Monday, two men in a vehicle stopped near VanHoose Drive and Kit Carson Drive and asked the woman a question. One man then got out of the vehicle and approached her, according to a police news release.
The woman ran away and contacted EKU police, who are investigating.
One man was described as a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was about 6 feet tall.
The other man was described as an African-American with a deep foreign accent, police said.
