A Richmond man died Sunday from injuries he received in a crash on Friday.
Nicholas King, 33, was pronounced dead at 2:52 a.m. at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. The cause of death was listed as blunt force head trauma, according to a release from the Fayette County coroner's office.
King was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed at 2:26 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Eastern Bypass in Richmond.
Details of the accident were not immediately available from the Richmond Police Department.
King was not wearing a seat belt, according to a death certificate signed by the coroner's office.
Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of funeral arrangements, which were incomplete Sunday.
