A road in northwestern Madison County has reopened after it was closed temporarily because of an embankment slide, the state Department of Highways said Friday afternoon.
Ky. 169, also known as Tates Creek Road, was closed Thursday night after heavy rain caused the slide between mile points 7 and 8.
Some additional cleanup will be done between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday. During that time, one lane will be closed. Signs will alert and guide motorists.
