A Richmond man died in a collision on Interstate 75 late Tuesday night, according to Kentucky State Police.
Joshua T. Thompson, 27, was taken to Baptist Health Richmond and was pronounced dead by the Madison County coroner, state police said.
Thompson was driving a Kia Forte north on I-75 when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was traveling slow because it was stuck in traffic, police said.
The collision happened a little after 11 p.m. Tuesday about five miles north of Berea.
KSP Trooper Adam Hall is investigating.
