A motorcycle driver was taken to University of Kentucky hospital after colliding with a school bus in Scott County.
Sheriff Deputy Jeff Hollon said the accident occurred about 4:40 p.m. when a bus carrying two adults and a middle school student was making a left turn from Newtown Pike to Johnson Mill Road. The Ducati bike was traveling the opposite way and collided with the bus, Hollon said.

The motorcyclist, in his mid-30s and from Lexington, was transported by Scott County EMS with injuries considered non-lifethreating, Hollon said. The driver and passengers on the bus were not injured.
The accident occurred near a sharp curve, causing the area to have a limited field of vision that likely contributed to the accident, Hollon said. Speed does not appear to be a factor, he said.
The motorcycle driver was wearing a helmet.
