A Georgetown man who pleaded guilty Monday in Jessamine County to reckless homicide is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 26.
Diego Benavides, 23, was charged with second-degree manslaughter after a head-on collision on Nov. 1, 2008 that killed Kyle Feck, 20.
Benavides' 2003 Audi allegedly crossed the center line in a curve on U.S. 68 and collided with a 2007 Honda driven by Feck, a member of the Kentucky National Guard.
Benavides is free on bond. His attorney, David Thomas of Nicholasville, will be able to seek probation for Benavides at sentencing in Jessamine Circuit Court.
