A Tennessee man was killed Sunday in a single-car accident on U.S. 25 in Scott County, four miles north of Georgetown, Kentucky State Police said.
Brian D. Armstrong, 48, of Etowah, Tenn., was a passenger in the car, police said.
Anthony Scott Ryman, 30, of Cocoa, Fla., was northbound on U.S. 25, also known as Cincinnati Pike, when he lost control of his car on a curve, according to a state police news release. The car left the road struck a culvert and went airborne. It then struck a light pole and overturned.
Ryman was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington. No information on his condition was available.

Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release said.
