Investigators were at the scene Friday, but an investigator wants to take another look at the house, said Richard Peddicord of the state fire marshal's office. It's not clear when that will happen.
"The building's really structurally unsound, and the weather didn't help it this weekend," Peddicord said.
Two other children were in the house at the time of the fire. Donnie Graham, 5, and Robert Sutherland, 14, were able to escape from the burning building.
Donnie Graham is in fair condition at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, a spokeswoman said.
Robert was treated and released Friday.
