A man has died of injuries from a traffic accident in Woodford County last month.
William "Bill" Drury, 74, died Saturday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, less than a month after a May 25 car accident that also claimed Drury's wife.
Barbara Drury, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene after a driver in a Volkswagen Jetta struck the side of the Drury's Mercedes. The accident happened at Falling Springs Boulevard and McCowans Ferry Road.
The driver of the Jetta, Cody Doan, 31, of Lawrenceburg, apparently ran a red light, according to Versailles police at the time. Neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors, police said.
