A man from Versailles was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Juan Reyes-Ramos, 30, of Versailles, was charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, four counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, according to a news release from state police.
He was taken to the Boone County Detention Center. The jail's Web site says he is being held as a federal prisoner.
State police said they were assisted in the case by the Versailles Police Department, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
