VERSAILLES — A man who was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle collision in Woodford County has been identified as Steven Hensley, 65, of Versailles.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn said in a news release that Hensley died of blunt-force trauma.

The crash occurred at 1:55 p.m. on U.S. 60 at Paddock Drive, just east of the Versailles city limits.

Police said Hensley, driving a car, turned onto U.S. 60 from Paddock Drive, and his car collided with an eastbound SUV.

Hensley was flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he died a short time later.

The driver of the SUV and a passenger in Hensley's car also were taken to UK Hospital. Their names were not available Friday afternoon.
