Two law enforcement agencies have pooled resources to offer a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the shooter in the May 12 triple shooting in Nicholasville that left two people dead.
Nicholasville police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced the reward Monday.
Police said they have investigated “every possible lead” but have been frustrated because possible witnesses have denied seeing anything.
Mark Boguszewski, 27, of Jefferson County, was found dead in tall grass near Bonded Links, a former motorcycle clubhouse where a private party was held in the early-morning hours of May 12.
Zach Cawthorn, 27, died Wednesday from complications due to gunshot wounds at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
A third person, who has not been identified, was wounded and was taken to UK Hospital.
Bonded Links is in the commercial area off U.S. 27 commonly known as “the drag strip” because it’s a former racing venue. The strip is home to various businesses, including auto body shops and used car lots.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Nicholasville police at 859-885-9467.
