A man wanted after a robbery of Fayette Mall customers was arrested Sunday, according to Lexington police.

A warrant was issued last week for Laybron Franklin, who was seen on surveillance pointing a gun at two customers and an employee at the Vengeance store in the mall on Sept. 7, according to court documents.

Franklin was identified as one of multiple robbers, and his arrest warrant for wanton endangerment was issued Thursday. Money was taken from the customers, police had said previously.

Police identified Franklin by finding photos of him on social media that matched the clothes he was wearing the day of the robbery, according to court documents.

The victims left the store before police arrived and were not identified.

Anyone with information on any of the other robbers is asked to contact Lexington police at 859-258-3600.
