Sexual abuse, robbery incident occurs on UK’s campus

A University of Kentucky student reported she was sexually abused walking on campus Wednesday.

The female student was walking on the east side of South Limestone near the corner of Avenue of Champions when she was approached by a man around 10:30 p.m., according to UK spokesperson Kathy Johnson. The man grabbed her by her wrist, touched her buttocks and asked her for money, according to UK.

The woman gave the man her money and he walked away. She said the suspect was about 5 feet, 7 inches and in his 30s or about 40, UK said.
