Crime of the Week:

This week's Crime of the Week is a cold case in Lexington. Police are trying to solve the killing of Kwame El-Amin (pictured above) at 9:13 p.m. on June 21, 2015, in Douglas Park. Police say that shots were fired between two groups of people after Dirt Bowl basketball tournament games. Shortly after the firing stopped, Kwame El-Amin was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the neck. Police say El-Amin was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week:

The Suspect of the Week this week is Cosimo Compton, 31, who is wanted on charges of theft by deception over $10,000. Compton is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds.
