After Pulaski County man is reported missing, body is found and pair arrested in North Carolina

An investigation of a missing man led Pulaski County sheriff's deputies Wednesday to the body of a man who was killed by a gunshot wound.

The sheriff's office received a missing-person report for Edward Gregory Vanwormer, 56, of Jones Knob Road in Somerset, according to a news release.

The body has not been identified as Vanwormer, according to the news release.

Jebidiah Lee Vanwormer, 31, and Amanda R. Braddock, 22, were arrested Thursday morning in North Carolina, according to the sheriff's office.

Braddock and Jebidiah Vanwormer live at the same address listed for Edward Vanwormer, and both have been charged with tampering with evidence, according to the sheriff's office.

Pulaski County officials are pursuing extradition to return both to Kentucky to face charges, according to the sheriff's office.
