Lexington police are asking for your help to solve the burglary of cigarettes from a Shell station and to apprehend a rape suspect.

Crime of the Week:

Police say the surveillance video above shows a burglary from the Shell station at 176 West New Circle Road early on Sept. 22, 2015. When the owner of the gas station arrived to work that day he found that one of his store's plate glass windows had been removed and shattered. Inside, he found that someone had stolen nearly 100 cartons of cigarettes worth almost $3,500. Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week:

This week's Suspect of the Week is Arthur Clayborne, 62. He is wanted on a charge of first-degree rape. Clayborne is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds.
