Coroner: Body found in freezer identified as missing Nancy man

The body found in a freezer Tuesday night has been identified as the man who lived in the home, Gary Ray Jenks, 68, of Nancy, according to Pulaski County Coroner Clyde Strunk.

Deputies were executing a search warrant as a part of a missing-persons search for Jenks at his Happy Ridge Road home when they found his body, Deputy Karl Clinard said. There were chemicals in the freezer with the body.

Teresa Owens, 51, was arrested Tuesday night on a charge of tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse, Clinard said. She lived with Jenks.
