An Emmalena man was killed Friday in a two-vehicle collision.
Pamela Brock of Hyden was driving west in a Chevrolet Tahoe on the Hal Rogers Parkway in the Thousandsticks community of Leslie County when the SUV crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2008 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jimmy Hicks, according to Kentucky State Police.
Hicks, 44, died at the scene. A passenger in the Toyota, Chet Hicks, 39, of Hindman, was taken to Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital for treatment. Brock was taken to Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, police said.
All involved were wearing seat belts. Toxicology reports are pending.
