A Corbin man suffered minor injuries Saturday night when his house exploded just as he was getting out of the shower.
Capt. Jack Partin of the Corbin Fire Department said the man was in the bathroom starting to dry off when the single-story house exploded.
Firefighters were called at 7:04 p.m. and arrived within two minutes. They entered through the bathroom wall to get the man out, he said.
He had "very minor singes and burns on his arm," Partin said.

The cause of the blast was not known, but foul play was not suspected.
Partin said the house, on 11th Street in Corbin, was "very unstable" and probably would have to be razed. Walls were pushed out 2 or 3 feet by the explosion.
"You could probably push it down with your hand," Partin said. "It's totaled."
