A Cincinnati man was indicted Monday on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of a Lexington man.

A Fayette County grand jury also indicted Tyjuan D.L. Pearson on charges of second-degree assault, tampering with physical evidence and second-degree persistent felony offender in connection to the June 13 shooting.

Police say Pearson shot Dwayne K. Johnson Jr., 20, outside the Pak-n-Save at Third and Race streets about 3:35 a.m. Johnson died at University of Kentucky Hospital. Anthony Burnett, Jamaur Yocum and Karlan Morton were wounded.

Pearson is scheduled to be arraigned at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3 in Fayette Circuit Court.
