A University of Kentucky employee pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Fayette District Court to a possession of child pornography charge.
UK police charged Robert N. McAllister, 23, Monday with possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
UK police Chief Joe Monroe said police received a tip Nov. 17 that there was child pornography on McAllister's laptop. After a search warrant was issued, officers found more than 500 images and videos of partially naked children and children involved in sexual acts, Monroe said.
Police have seized a computer that belongs to UK, Monroe said.
