Arrest made in Lexington stabbing

A Lexington man has been charged in a stabbing last week at an apartment complex on Charles Avenue.

Gary Robinson, 55, faces charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree assault in the stabbing on March 25.

The victim, who police have not identified, was stabbed multiple times in the chest and was in the hospital Tuesday recovering from his wounds, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

Roberts said Robinson and the victim knew each other, but did not elaborate on their relationship.
