Lancaster shooting victim in serious condition

A shooting in downtown Lancaster Saturday left one man injured and another charged with attempted murder, Kentucky State Police said.

Johnny King, 47, was shot and Roy Walker Davis, 60, was charged with attempted murder after the incident, which occurred at 8:15 a.m. in a parking lot, police said.

King was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington where his condition was listed as serious Sunday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Davis remains in the Lincoln County jail in Stanford in lieu of either a $100,000 cash bond or $200,000 in property.
