One man was arrested and another was seriously injured after a fight that ended in a stabbing Thursday night.
The 20-year-old stabbing victim, who police have not named, was rushed to University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Rio Brown, 19, was arrested about 1 a.m. Friday. He is charged with first-degree assault.
Lexington police responded to a call at 652 Lombardy Street about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said. While officers were en route, dispatchers radioed that a man had been stabbed.
Officers identified Brown through witness interviews, Roberts said. A police canine unit found the knife in some nearby bushes.
Brown was being held at the Fayette County jail on $7,500 bond.
