A Louisville man led police on a high-speed chase through multiple counties in Northern Kentucky on Thursday morning, Kentucky State Police said.
Boone County authorities called state police about a stolen vehicle that was entering Grant County about 9 a.m. Thursday. Police said Leslie Joseph Haun, 45, stole the vehicle from Fort Mitchell in Kenton County.
Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle using a tire deflation device but were unsuccessful. Haun traveled for more than 40 miles before he was stopped on Interstate 75 South at the 120-mile marker (Iron Works Pike) in Fayette County, state police said.
Haun was charged with theft of a motor vehicle. He was being held at the Kenton County jail.
