A Fayette County grand jury has indicted a man on a murder charge stemming from the fatal stabbing of another man in May.
Rio D'Marcus Brown, 19, is accused of stabbing Christopher Brogli, 20, on May 27. Brogli died four days later.
Investigators say the men could have been fighting over money that was missing. Police said Brogli was stabbed once in the back and twice in the left side of his torso.
Tucker Richardson, Brown's attorney, said several days after the stabbing that, from what he knew, Brogli had started the fight.
Brown told authorities that Brogli had him in a headlock when he drew a knife and stabbed Brogli, police said.
Brown is in custody on a $500,000 full-cash bond. His arraignment in Fayette Circuit Court has been set for July 29.
