Two men stabbed outside Lexington strip club

Lexington police are investigating an altercation outside a Lexington strip club in which two people were stabbed Friday morning.

Police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said several men were leaving Diva's Gentleman's Club on Russell Cave Road about 3 a.m. when they were jumped by another group waiting outside.

One of the victims was stabbed in the abdomen and cut on the neck, Roberts said. The second victim was stabbed in the stomach after apparently jumping in to help the first victim, Roberts said. A third man injured his arm in the fight.

All three were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, Roberts said. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening, she said.

Witnesses told officers the group of four or five attackers left in a white older model Lexus, Roberts said. No suspects have been named.

Anyone with information about the altercation is asked to call the Lexington Division of Police at (859) 258-3600.
