A Scott County couple were arrested Wednesday after deputies found cash, prescription pills and a weapon inside a home, Scott County Sheriff Bobby Hammons said.
Jennifer Lee, 35, and Troy Lee, 39, are charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, Hammons said. They were being held Wednesday at the Scott County jail. A bond had not yet been set Wednesday afternoon.
The couple was arrested after an informant was sent to their home at 106 Whistler Court about 1:30 a.m. and bought drugs, Hammons said. Deputies moved quickly to get a search warrant.
After searching the home, deputies found about $8,600 in cash, bottles of oxycodone, a pistol and ammunition, Hammons said.
Hammons said the arrests were part of an investigation.
"It's been the largest we've had in quite a while," he said.
Hammons said the sheriff's office might confiscate a car that was at the home because the Lees admitted that they sold pills from the car.
